Responsibilities
The Salesforce Developer, with a focus on CPQ, is a high-visibility, integral role in Eastman’s current and future digital strategy. One of the fundamental requirements is to develop and maintain multiple Sales Processes that encompass various modules and clouds within Salesforce, specifically Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Manufacturing Cloud. As Eastman’s Sales strategies and digital technology dependencies grow, this role must leverage technical capabilities alongside sales experts to meet future automation and customer demands. The Analyst will work within an existing IT Commercial Business Solutions team, which necessitates good teamwork and communication skills.
• Designs, implements, maintains, and troubleshoots Eastman’s Salesforce application, while adapting to changing priorities.
• Leads complex projects including the design, specifications, and implementation of new capabilities.
• Hands-on development and configuration of Salesforce to create critical solutions.
• Provides day-to-day application support: Address broke/fix, provide consultation, investigate data issues.
• Interact with other functional areas (i.e., Demand Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) to understand upstream and downstream impacts.
• Provides input into cloud-based solutions as required to meet changing business needs.
• Interacts with vendors and service providers to understand the relationship, troubleshooting issues, ensures adequate support levels are in place, and evaluates new cloud services and frameworks.
• Work closely with the Sales Center of Excellence and Sales Leaders (Directors and VPs) to understand needs and demands while creating designs and solutions resulting from their feedback.
• Consistently evaluating Platform Releases to assess new functionality that can be leveraged to improve system usability and maturity.
• Peer leadership by providing mentoring and training to other team members.
Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills:
o Ability to convey ideas in written form and the capability to share those ideas verbally in a clear, concise manner to varying levels of the organization and team peers.
o Collaborate effectively with business partners during discovery, development, or training phases of projects and support.
o Ability to present complex technical topics to a non-technical audience (including senior leadership).
• Demonstrate experience with full Software Development Lifecycle.
• Familiarity working with Agile methodologies.
• Maintains technical skills, leads investigation of new tools. Stays abreast of industry trends.
• Proven ability to stay organized while managing multiple projects simultaneously—must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple, competing priorities.
• Must be a self-starter with high level of initiative with good follow-through.
• Willingness to learn concepts and technologies that are unfamiliar.
• Comfortable working in a group setting, learning from others and mentoring new peers.
• BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with these skills to be applied with this role:
o Salesforce Code-Free Configuration
Required: Sales Cloud, CPQ, Manufacturing Cloud, Quip
Including: Lighting Pages, SOQL, Data Loader, Flows, Process Builders, Custom Objects and Custom Fields, Analytics, Reports and Dashboards, Security, Mobile
o Familiarity with System Integrations
Including: Dell Boomi, Enosix, Platform Events, and FTP
