QA Representative

The role of a Quality Assurance Representative is to serve as an advocate for the customer by partnering with the business and manufacturing organizations in order to deliver quality product and service through continual improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer complaint and concern process, utilizing key personnel from the manufacturing and technical services organizations during the investigation. and subsequent resolution
  • Work in conjunction with manufacturing to implement corrective actions identified in customer complaints.
  • Communicate with account managers to determine customer needs and expectations
  • Understand and anticipate customer needs and product improvement opportunities
  • Host customer visits within our organization and participate in visits to customer organizations
  • Host customer and certification audits and coordinate quality assurance responses
  • Serve as a repository of customer knowledge for the manufacturing organization
  • Work closely with the business organization to understand the customer’s commercial needs
  • Approve product property and sales specifications and assure adherence in production
  • Manage non-conforming and in-process product inventory
  • Determine final disposition of product disposition
  • Actively participate in production planning
  • Configure certificates of analysis to the customer’s expectations
  • Prepare, maintain, and approve lot specifications and manufacturing standards
  • Lead or participate in the customer notification of process or product changes
  • Perform data analysis to ensure product quality
  • Work closely with the technical services and business organizations to maintain product testing plans and review product performance and capabilities
  • Monitor routine product performance test results
  • Understand and adhere to all quality system procedures as outlined within the quality manual, job manuals, and sub-process documents
  • Identify product and process quality needs and initiate improvement projects
     

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in a Technical or Scientific Field

 
Preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience in manufacturing or quality environment preferred
  • Prior external customer experience preferred
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in data analysis

 
Required Travel:

  • Less than 10% travel is expected in this role
