Responsibilities

Role
Under direct supervision, develops and updates detailed engineering design drawings, schematics, specifications, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). Works collaboratively with engineers, designers, Eastman personnel, contractors, and international stakeholders to resolve design discrepancies and ensure project deliverables align with safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements. Adheres to established design standards and contributes to the ongoing development and maintenance of P&ID practices, standards, and procedures.

Qualifications
• Minimum of an Associate's degree in a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Significant relevant experience (7+ years) may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in field verifying P&IDs.
• Ability to develop and use customized settings in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Understanding of mechanical, piping, and electrical design and basic construction principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Interaction with partners in Hyderabad Engineering Center occurs frequently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, including the ability to coordinate multi-person and location/time-zone teams.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Willingness to travel on occasion (10% or less of job time).
