Role Profile

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing market segment plans, continuously monitoring their effectiveness and making strategic adjustments as needed. You will lead the implementation of market-facing initiatives to drive and sustain growth within your assigned segments. As an expert in our Enabling Business and Marketing Excellence (EBME) framework, you will manage Stage-Gate projects through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Leads or supports growth projects as a marketing resource by using the Enabling Business and Marketing Excellence (EBME) framework to ensure strategic, high-quality decision-making across all initiatives.
  • Creates understanding of the different “where to play” and “how to win” choices such as; contributing to the development of Addressable Market Maps, determining unmet market needs, creating understanding of value of Eastman offerings vs. alternatives by developing Economic Value Estimates (EVE™) and defining value propositions, offers and market activation plans.
  • Collaborates across the value chain to engage with leverage points, uncovering potential product and application opportunities that drive innovation and growth.
  • Establishes and monitors key metrics to evaluate the impact of post-launch activities on segment strategy and performance, providing data-driven recommendations to commercial leaders for necessary adjustments.
  • Undertakes special commercial and business projects or assignments as directed by strategic business unit leadership, delivering actionable insights and supporting overall business objectives.

Skills

  • Strong project management expertise with the ability to effectively prioritize, multitask, and communicate across teams.
  • Deep and ongoing understanding of industry trends and market dynamics to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Proven experience managing stage-gate processes and other project methodologies to drive the development of innovative and differentiated products and services.
  • Ability to develop compelling financial value cases and business justifications for projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Skilled in market segmentation and targeting to maximize impact and reach.
  • Expertise in crafting value propositions and tailored offers, coupled with providing hands-on implementation support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or textiles, with commercial experience in B2B2C business models.
  • 3+ years of strategic marketing or product marketing experience required. In lieu of a marketing degree, there is a minimum of 5 years prior experience in strategic marketing or product marketing roles.
  • Understanding of the textiles industry and its value chain, with proven ability to influence and drive behavior change at textile brands.
  • Fluent English and Spanish speaker.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
