Responsibilities

The Manager, Treasury Operations leads a global team of professionals delivering accurate and efficient cash management and treasury operations ensuring adequate liquidity and forecasting for all corporate entities.  Collaborates with Accounting, Tax, and other Treasury functions leaders to forecast and efficiently manage company assets.  Oversees Eastman’s In-House Banking structure and manages bank relationships and services to optimize performance and manage fees.

 
ROLE TASKS AND RESPONSIBLITIES  
 

  • Mentor and develop the Treasury Operations team
  • Oversee day to day treasury operations including payments, liquidity, and compliance
  • Manage banking architecture including the evaluation and selection of cash management banking services, letters of credit and guarantees providers, commercial paper dealers, as well as ongoing negotiation of pricing and terms.  
  • Stewardship for all cash management policies and procedures, including disaster recovery planning.  Responsible for maintaining "best practices" internal controls, compliance with all Sarbanes Oxley requirements, and ensuring the integrity of data provided to accounting to record all cash transactions in the general ledger.
  • Manage acquisitions, divestitures, and special projects and legal entity restructuring for cash operations and intercompany financing.
  • Oversee Eastman’s In-House Banking structure providing various financial services to Eastman’s global legal 
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with banks and service providers including Kyriba TMS.  
  • Oversee reporting of performance measures for cash management operations, and worldwide cash balances.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERTISE 

  • Bachelor’s degree required in finance or accounting (MBA and CTP preferred) 
  • 7+ years relevant Treasury experience
