Responsibilities

 

The Logistics Finance Analyst is a member of the Functional Accounting and Analysis team.  
This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Business Finance, and business stakeholders to monitor financial performance, support monthly financial close and planning processes, identify cost drivers, recommend optimization opportunities, and communicate actionable insights to management. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear recommendations.


Key Responsibilities


•    Lead forecasting of distribution expenses, including freight, warehousing, duties, etc.
•    Use BPC to manage forecast inputs, scenario planning, and submission across multiple planning cycles.
•    Analyze supply chain cost trends and variances using SAP transactions, LeCost, Inventory Cube, and Sales & Earnings Cube.
•    Identify spend drivers and recommend prioritized, actionable cost-optimization opportunities.
•    Align distribution forecasts with supply chain initiatives and financial trends to support stakeholder needs and strategic business decisions.
•    Lead post-forecast reporting by delivering multi-view financial analysis to Supply Chain leadership.
•    Prepare executive-level commentary on key variance drivers across the broader organization.

Qualifications

 

•    Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related business field.
•    3+ years of experience in related functional area

 

Preferred Skills

 

•    Strong written and verbal communication
•    Proficiency with SAP and financial reporting tools such as PowerBI
•    Ability to analyze complex data sets and communicate insights clearly
•    Understanding of supply chain or logistics cost structures
•    Familiarity with cost optimization project management, analysis, and reporting
•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously and deliver within tight deadlines
