LSE - Trade and Regulatory Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities

⦁    The North America Trade and Regulatory Compliance Analyst will work with the Trade and Regulatory Compliance Manager and the Global Trade Compliance team to support relevant Import an Export Trade-related processes. 

⦁    Exposure to, and understanding of, federal regulations will be required. Examples include but are not limited to Office of Foreign Assets Control, Customs & Border Protection, Bureau of Industry and Security, U.S. Department of State Trade Controls, U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Drug Enforcement Administration, ITAR, Anti-Boycott, Sanctions Programs and Embargos, and Chemical Weapons Conventions.

⦁    The candidate will conduct impact analyses based on various trade scenarios utilizing Power BI, Cube reports, and other software programs.

⦁    The candidate will also be required to assist with calculation and reporting of FTA savings, centralize global duty suspension savings, and assist with ad hoc business requests for trade analyses, while maintaining positive continuity.

⦁    The candidate will partner with internal organizations, such as Customs and Trade Operations (CTO) to support management of Miscellaneous Tariff Bill (MTB) cycles and drawback opportunities.

⦁    The candidate will be required to work independently, and complete tasks based on priority. 

⦁    The candidate must possess excellent communication and research capabilities. 

⦁    Issues which arise can be escalated to other FTA team members or to the Trade and Regulatory Compliance Manager for assistance.
