Role Description


The Corporate Communications Specialist is focused on providing communications support to the Corporate Communications team.


  • Research, gather information and write internal news stories for company intranet and electronic newsletter
  • Assist with executing communications strategies for projects and initiatives
  • Create and edit Powerpoint slides for presentations
  • Create content for company’s digital signage network
  • Create content for social media channels


  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing communications or related field
  • Strong communications skills, written and verbal for creating presentations, and interpreting concepts/ideas into written and/or verbal form to selected audiences
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Able to leverage social networking opportunities and strategies
  • Prior experience working in Corporate Communications is a plus
  • Prior experience working with a publicly traded or Fortune 500 company is a plus
  • Prior experience working in journalism/news media preferred
