Responsibilities
The Global Contracting Center of Excellence periodically has demand for temporary administrative level duties and tasks. These duties will support the mission of the CoE to provide contracting support to multiple business or functional partners across Eastman. The role will require contract management experience including the ability to use Eastman’s CLM platform, Icertis.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Support data quality clean-up & maintenance efforts to migrate and maintain contracting data.
• Assist in contract creation, administration, approval and execution processing.
• Be able to interpret basic contract terms and conditions.
• Assist in contracting template optimization, creation, enhancement & maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge of contract language and best practices.
• Recommend enhancements for contract creation and management process.
• Develop understanding of Contacting, CoE strategies, goals and objectives and long-term view of success to better support CLM processes.
• Assist with the maintenance of contract compliance, including reviewing and analyzing data within Icertis CLM and other platforms (ex: Power BI).
• Support full usage and utilization of the Eastman Icertis Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform.
Qualifications
Skill Requirements:
• Extreme attention to detail in all aspects of work product, include drafting, review, analysis, summaries, checklists, and data entry.
• Strong data entry/verification skills.
• Strong customer focus and proactive nature
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting deadlines for multiple internal customers.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
• Icertis CLM (or similar contract management system) and SAP experience preferred.
Experience and Education Requirements:
• 2- or 4-year advanced degree and /or equivalent work experience; Law Degree or paralegal certification preferred.
• Prior experience working with various contract types (procurement, sales, non-disclosure, etc.).
