The International Tax Manager is a leader within the Tax Department with responsibility for projects that optimize the Company’s cash tax position and its effective tax rate.  The International Tax Manager plays a key role in developing, optimizing, and managing the international tax profile of the Company.  The role requires a strong technical tax foundation, a strategic mindset, and a motivated approach to driving impactful change to the organization.  The International Tax Manager will also support the international aspects of the Company’s acquisition and divestiture strategy, its greenfield and organic growth strategy, the company’s annual tax compliance process, as well as its interim and annual financial statement disclosure requirements.  

 

The International Tax Manager should possess strong communication skills and the ability to partner and share knowledge with other members of the global tax team as well as cross-functional specialists outside of the global tax team.  

 

How you'll help us innovate to build a better world

 

•    Leads projects directly related to optimizing the Company’s cash tax payments and effective tax rate through planning initiatives
•    Deep technical knowledge of Internal Revenue Code international provisions (FTC, FDII, GILTI, BEAT, 163(j), etc.) as well as OECD issued Pillar 2 guidance 
•    Supports business development (e.g., M&A) initiatives and works closely with other capabilities 
•    Leads the preparation of responses related to tax controversy/audit defense in the resolution of the audits
•    Mentors teammates and acts as a resource to peers
•    Performs research and analysis on more complex tax issues and monitors tax law changes
•    Implements technology to maximize efficiency, minimize errors and take a new perspective on existing solutions

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

 

•    BS/BA in accounting or equivalent education
•    7+ years of experience in large Corporate Tax department, public accounting or law firm
•    CPA, Law Degree or other advanced degree, preferred
