Responsibilities


HSE Representative - Films Division (Location: Sun Prairie, WI)
As an HSE Representative, you will develop and manage policies, procedures, and programs consistent with regulatory and company requirements. You will develop and deliver safety-related trainings, curriculum development, and presentations associated with Eastman policies, OSHA requirements, new employee safety orientations, and routine safety trainings. Work with the Eastman Films Division with a specific focus on Distribution Centers, OneSource Film Installation, and the commercial business to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. You will support the Global Films HSE Team by leading and/or participating in initiatives aimed at improving HSE Performance for the division. 
Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day HSES support to the Sun Prairie Manufacturing site. Develop and train team members on relevant HSES topics. Development and implementation of site procedures. Perform Life Critical Audits each month. Investigate any incidents and/or near misses. Serve as the voice of HSES on the site leadership team. 
  • Serve as the HSE Lead for Films Distribution Centers and Eastman OneSource team. As HSE lead responsibilities will include safety program development, management, and implementation of new initiatives. 
  • Actively promote & drive the corporate safety vision of a Zero Incident Culture through fostering a Zero Incident Mindset, including but not limited to, employee safety observations, hazard recognition/incident reporting programs, and other employee engagement activities.
  • Manage policies, procedures, and programs consistent with Regulatory and Company requirements.
  • Develop and Deliver safety-related training curriculum development and presentations associated with company policies, OSHA requirements, new employee safety orientations, and routine safety trainings.
  • Lead and/or participate in incident investigations as required.
  • Facilitate site Management of Change process, including safety risk assessment evaluations of new or modified equipment.
  • Travel to distribution centers, OneSource Installation Locations, and other Films manufacturing sites up to 25%. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or other related technical disciplines
  • CSP / CIH other HSE Related certifications preferred
  • 5+ years experience preferred. 
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate safety requirements and procedures to all levels of the organization.
  • A strong understanding of safety standards and regulations, as well as technical knowledge related to the films manufacturing industry.
  • Capability to analyze safety and health data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Strong initiative, focus, and follow-through skills
  • Effective organization and planning skills
  • Ability to adapt to different cultural environments
  • Strong people skills
