Responsibilities

Eastman is seeking an HR professional for a strategic global partner role between the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and HR Client Support team as a liaison for HR programs and processes. This position serves a pivotal role in helping Eastman drive global human capital change. HR programs and processes can range from the implementation of new IT modules to the execution of new talent processes. To be successful in this role, the individual will need to excel at project management, change leadership, customer service, advocacy, and communications across multiple regions and stakeholder groups.  


Key Accountabilities:


•    Plans, directs, and administers various human resource programs to support strategic business objectives in partnership with HR COEs.
•    Anticipates all stakeholder needs (including business clients) and works with HR COEs, Corporate Communications, and others to develop and build tools, as appropriate. 
•    Implements program services and activities in accordance with program goals and objectives and leads the day-to-day delivery of program content.
•    Collects and analyzes program data and participates in evaluating program effectiveness.
•    Proactively identifies problems and makes changes, within prescribed guidelines, or advocates for major changes.
•    Ensures regional perspective is incorporated into all aspects of HR programs and processes. 
•    Designs and rolls out projects using HR cloud-based enablement tools. 
•    Leads Organizational Change Management activities with an emphasis on communication strategy and execution, as assigned.
•    Instills trust and confidence by maintaining objectivity and clearly communicating rationale behind recommendations.
•    Analyzes trends and identifies issues in and across teams, synthesizing that analysis and making sound recommendations.
•    Lead and/or participate in various other HR-related projects with a wider focus on the associated organization and geography.


 

Qualifications

•    Strong people acumen, and ability to consult, coach, and influence business leaders across all managerial level around complex HR decisions.
•    Excellent cross-group collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
•    Strong systems-thinking ability. 
•    Demonstrable experience in analyzing business issues and providing scalable HR solutions that address & align to broader business requirements.
•    Ability to deal with ambiguity, and achieve results in a fast-paced, heavily distributed team environment. 
•    Must be highly organized. 
•    Ability to manipulate and analyze HR data and drive solutions or recommendations based on data insights.
•    Ability to prioritize based on the highest value add to business.
•    Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide human capital projects using a highly organized project management and change management approach.
•    Can lead small to medium sized projects or HR processes in Client area
•    Exhibits strong experience with creativity and innovation.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•    Proficient in HR Systems and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education

•    BS/BA degree required.
•    Advanced degree in HR preferred. 
•    PHR/SHRM-CP preferred or equivalent global working experience.
•    Years of Experience Required: 5+ years of relevant, HR Focused work experience.
•    Additional 2+ years of program and project management experience preferred. 
•    Experience in at least one HR COE (e.g. Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development) and at least one assignment supporting a Client organization.
