Manufacturing Divisions
- The employee selected will work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule under the general supervision of a Team Manager, within one of the manufacturing divisions to perform duties such as (but not limited to) the duties listed below.
- Read, communicate, and interpret data, and master an understanding of process, mechanical, and instrumented systems.
- Conduct certain physical tasks, such as opening valves, moving 55-gallon drums, and sampling in both elevated and tight spaces.
- Climb portable and stationary ladders, work from platforms, and work in very tight, congested places.
- Operate computer/DCS systems while sitting for extended periods.
- Perform some routine maintenance tasks, as in TPM within assigned areas.
- Work at heights or in confined spaces as required
- Participate in and lead team meetings and discussions.
- Safely respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
- Ready equipment in the field (Lock and Tag) in preparation for maintenance work, Lift 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques
- Use pipe wrenches to turn large valve handle wheels.
- Trace out lines in the field from inception to termination.
- Perform simple analytical techniques, such as titrations and gas chromatography.
- Patrol a broad area when assigned to outside jobs on a rotational basis.
Education:
- HS Diploma or GED is required.
- Substantial prior experience and/or successful completion of an applicable apprenticeship/structured training program preferred.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must meet pre-employment requirements such as Physical Abilities Evaluation, Medical Physical, Drug Screen and Background check.
Job Expectations:
- Must satisfactorily complete all job specific training.
- Must follow all safety procedures.
- Must wear company-provided personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses with side shields, and hard hats at all times in designated areas. Dust mask, rubber gloves, face shields, and other protective equipment must be worn when required.
- If required, must work a twelve (12) hour rotating shift schedule.
- Overtime work is required from time to time.
- Be familiar with basic computer functions such as creating, sending, and receiving e-mail and data entry.
- Have a strong work ethic, demonstrating both initiative and a professional attitude.
- Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to apply mechanical fundamentals to properly operate and maintain the performance of the equipment within area of responsibility.
- Must be able to perform the essential elements of the positions with or without reasonable accommodations.
