Responsibilities
Role:
The Electrical Technologist will provide electrical and instrumentation technical support for Eastman Manufacturing Units in Kingsport, TN. Individuals in this role utilize a broad range of electrical skills on projects that range from small, fast-paced production projects to development projects, to execution of capital projects.
Responsibilities:
•The primary responsibility will be to support a manufacturing division in the design and installation of various electrical projects including engineering studies, electrical equipment/instrument specification and selection, capital project support, project estimating, technical field support and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment, project scope documentation, wiring and motor circuit installations, instrumentation selection and installation design, basic programming, etc.
•Work closely with various teams to meet maintenance and production objectives.
•Support electrical projects through design, installation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
•Utilize various digital tools and software for project management and documentation.
•Produce drawings, cost estimates, and support department initiatives while ensuring safety.
•Support and mentor teams, contribute to global engineering initiatives, and provide mechanical technical support for troubleshooting and operational improvements.
Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 5 years equivalent experience in technical field.
