Provide civil/structural technical support for Eastman manufacturing units in Kingsport. Individuals in this role utilize a broad range of civil/structural skills on projects that range from small, fast-paced production projects to development projects, to execution of capital projects.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Development, and Manufacturing teams to achieve production, reliability, and maintenance goals.
- Work with Plant Engineering teams to provide technical solutions, project management, and support throughout project cycles.
- Assist in the design, field validation, and inspection of civil/structural assets.
- Support and mentor teams, contribute to global engineering initiatives, and provide civil/structural technical support for troubleshooting and operational improvements.

Qualifications
Skills, Attributes, Experience, and Education
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Preferred experience in a manufacturing plant environment, with a strong preference for experience in a chemical plant environment. Preferred experience to include:
- Technical Expertise: Experience with design, drafting, field verification, installation, documentation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving of equipment. General knowledge of civil/structural components, including foundations, steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and types of building construction.
- Project Management: Skills in project management, including capital project support (scope, definition, estimating), and technical field support of civil/structural assets.
- Documentation and Analysis: Working knowledge of Civil/Structural documentation. Excellent analysis and communication skills to interpret manufacturing requests and convey technical solutions.
