Responsibilities
Role:
The Capital Project/Turnaround Manager provides leadership throughout the execution of the capital project and turnaround by maximizing the value by safely executing projects and turnarounds within budget, on schedule and ensuring required operability is achieved for our business partners.
Responsibilities:
• Management of capital projects and turnaround execution of a portfolio of both in Kingsport, TN and other sites as assigned
• Ensure a Zero Incident Mindset and principles are continuously demonstrated
• Recognize critical issues and act on them accordingly to eliminate problems
• Ensure communication to appropriate personnel including but not limited to: Engineering, Procurement, Execution, Operations and Maintenance in the execution of Capital Projects/Turnaround Management.
• Review and ensure Eastman compliance with contractor agreement(s)
• Provide input to Project Team on schedule and cost related issues
• Evaluate and report project performance
• Ensure appropriate resource availability for project schedules and execution strategies
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 5+ yrs of relevant experience on construction projects > 5M.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects

- PMP, CCM, CWI, or API certifications
- MBA or MLS degree
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management, Construction Management, Engineering/Industrial Management, or Project Management.
