Responsibilities
- Serves as the technical or process expert for a team, complex multi-functional process or manufacturing site/stream.
- Acts as a resource for teammates throughout the division.
- Leads functional teams or projects with moderate complexity, risks and resource requirements.
- Develops, recommends and implements best practices within areas of responsibility based on knowledge of division processes and operations.
- Performs advanced or specialized work that requires thorough knowledge of accounting theory and principles and Eastman financial and business processes.
- Works independently to perform responsibilities with guidance in only the most complex situations.
- Performs monthly accounting responsibilities such as journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, external reporting, key controls, etc. for complex accounting items.
- Prepares global / consolidated reporting for areas of responsibility such as manufacturing or functional areas, financial statement categories such as COGS, SGA, inventory, etc.
- Completes deliverables required in support of key processes for areas of responsibility and key customers, such as corporate rolling forecast and strategy quantification, cost structure planning or statutory reporting.
- Identifies areas for improvement or productivity gain and makes recommendations regarding methods of achievement.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- BS Accounting/Finance degree is required
- MAcc preferred
- 10+ years of accounting experience preferred
- CPA encouraged
