The Supply Chain Analyst - CoE, is responsible for supporting, analyzing and optimzing SC processes and systems (OMP, SAP, etc.), and serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in sharing best practices and escalating SC order management and material flow planning capabilities.

 

The position requires exemplary analytical, problem-solving and communication skills as well as the ability to prioritize, organize, initiate and execute complex plans in support of business growth strategy. The position reports to the COE Manager, Americas.

 

Primary Job Duties:

 

-  Develop in-depth knowledge in the area of assignment and serve as SME to business partners.

-  Investigate and resolve issues effectively to sustain SC operational excellence.

-  Analyze existing processes, systems or tools to identify improvement opportuites.

-  Lead or participate to design, establish, develop, enhance or automate SC processes/systems/tools.

-  Serve as SME on optimization projects to provide insight, translate business needs to IT requirement, define test scripts, conduct end-to-end testing, and provide sustain support.

-  Train the end-users on the standard and/or new processes/systems/tools.

-  Assess and complete regular auditing requirements and ensure compliance.

-  Provide routine analytical reporting to business partners and/or SC management if needed.

-  Provide backup as needed for other team members. 

 

Qualifications:

 

Bacehlors degree in Supply Chain Operatiosn, Business Engineering (Chemical/Industrial) or related field required. MBA, APICS, or similar Supply Chain certification is a plus.

 

Other requirements:

 - OMP, SAP and/or experience with planning and scheduling software.

 - Microsoft and related computer applications skills.

 - Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills required. Automation experience is a plus.

 - Ability to grasp complex business processes and organizatinal dynamics.

 - Abilty to work at operational and strategic levels.

 - Must possess strong customer service mindset, be a self-starter and able to manage multiple priorities

 - Some travel may be required +/- 5%.
