The Organization Effectiveness Leader will ensure the successful design, implementation and global scale adoption of corporate initiatives by serving as an organization strategy consultant and content expert to leadership. As a leader you will align talent and organization strategy to enable business results. You will assess and diagnose organizational issues then enable leadership teams to design, implement and integrate solutions that deliver new capability resulting in higher business performance across the Eastman enterprise.

 

With a strong bias for action, this Leader will bring relentless curiosity and passion to delivering global corporate initiatives that result in higher levels of engagement and performance.

 

Primary Function/Responsibilities:

 

  • Be a trusted advisor to clients by developing an understanding of key functional / business issues and advising leaders on effective solutions impacting human and organization performance. 
  • Use a systems mindset to diagnose, design and deliver enterprise-level organization change programs
  • Demonstrate deep proficiency in applying OD/OE/Human Capital theories, philosophies and methods to business challenges
  • Create transformational change strategies, practical approaches, activities and measures to drive and sustain behavior change and work closely with senior level leaders.
  • Develop change management plans and materials which at a minimum includes plans and key materials to enable stakeholder identification and sponsorship management, communications, training and organizational readiness assessment. Integrate content of communication, training and change activities to ensure focus on behavioral change.
  • Identify human and organizational risks and coach leaders on mitigation strategies and tactics.
  • Demonstrate deep project leadership/management capability by inflencing key leaders on the project team, in the business and with related initiatives to ensure achievement of the initiative’s targeted business results
  • Design, develop, and execute organizational assessments and surveys at the individual, team and enterprise levels; consult on how to action them in the business
  • Advise teams on principles and actions to build their High-Performing Team capability
  • Understand the significance of the changes within the organization and ensure realistic expectations about risks and adoption of the new capability in the organization (e.g., adoption of new systems and processes, etc.)
  • Co-create talent and organization deliverables with key stakeholders by providing content expertise and facilitation support (for example, facilitating Organization Design Workshop).
  • Generate and maintain advocacy at the executive level of the respective organizations and stakeholder buy-in for the implementation project.
  • Measure effectiveness of organizational effectiveness and change management plans then make adjustments where necessary.

 

Education

  • MBA or MS in HR, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or related field is required for this role

 

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Consulting with a focus on Human/Organization Performance or an internal role in Organization Development/Effectiveness

 

 

Preferred Experience

  • Consulting experience including change management responsibility for complex, enterprise-wide initiates or organizational development projects in large, global organizations. 
  • Experience and ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization and be energized by partnering with senior leadership team and human resources team.
  • Experience in teaching and/or advising others in the areas of High Performing Teams, Change Management, Communication, Customer Focus, Leadership, and Influencing Others
  • Certification in commonly-used Change Management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, etc.).
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
