Role Description
An Information Technology & Business Shared Services presence is established in Hyderabad, India with the objective of providing information technology application development and support services
The Sourcing Manager – IT is responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across Information Technology spend.
This role delivers sustainable cost reduction, value creation, supplier performance improvement, and risk mitigation while supporting business and technology objectives. The Sourcing Manager acts as a trusted commercial lead.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Category Management
- Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies for assigned IT spend.
- Conduct internal and external assessments including market analysis and cost modeling.
- Apply sourcing frameworks (SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces, cost curves).
- Identify demand, specification, and commercial levers.
- Align strategies with business and technology priorities.
Value Delivery & Performance
- Deliver sustainable cost reduction and value creation.
- Lead sourcing initiatives using project and change management.
- Track spend, pricing, and performance metrics.
- Develop multi-year cost forecasts.
Supplier & Contract Management
- Lead RFIs, RFPs, negotiations, and contracting.
- Manage supplier performance and reviews.
- Approve pricing changes per contracts.
- Support supplier development activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5–10 years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience.
- IT Services or IT Systems category experience.
- Proven negotiation and cost reduction success.
