Role Description

This position will require a 5-8 year experienced professional to be responsible for modeling in TEKLA and detailing as well.  The candidate will work in a multi-discipline team executing a variety of chemical manufacturing support projects and tasks to support our manufacturing sites. Projects will vary in scope from drafting support to detail design and preparation of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

•           Work in coordination with global counterparts and other team members to develop deliverables required for steel fabrication and installation and hence excellent communication skills a pre-requisite.

•           Take instructions from Structural Engineer and develop 3D model of steel and building systems in TEKLA STRUCTURES.

•           Should be able to extract fabrication drawings from TEKLA model into standard templates.

•           Shall be proficient in detailing in TEKLA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree / Diploma – Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in an Engineering and/or Engineering Services organization.
  • Computer Environment: Microsoft: Word, Excel.
  • Excellent skill required in TEKLA STRUCTURES.
  • Mandatory to possess experience in detailing with American Section Profiles & Imperial system of units.
