About Role

An Information Technology & Business Shared Services presence is established in Hyderabad, India with the objective of providing information technology application development and support services 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide timely resolutions for end-user issues to ensure uninterrupted procurement operations. 
  • Coordinate urgent purchase order requests and item deliveries to meet critical business needs. 
  • Manage contract request processes, including entries and tracking through contract management system to support efficient contract administration. 
  • Support Distribution Center (DC) procurement activities.  Including procurement services encompassing janitorial, repair, waste management, and related facility needs. 
  • Manage purchasing of vendor-managed inventory (VMI) programs for multiple site.  Control and ensure compliance for inventory lists including items and expected inventory levels.  Police process for addition and removal of items from VMI program 
  • Coordinate and maintain Supplier VMI lists for assigned sites to optimize supply chain performance. 
  • Handle repairable orders management process to support asset lifecycle and repair processes. 
  • Procurement contact for Eastman MRO inventory, collaborating closely with key personnel storeroom. 
  • Execute rental and lease buying responsibilities for multiple locations. 
  • Resolve escalated invoice issues promptly to maintain financial accuracy and supplier relationships. 
  • Serve as the dedicated HOC Site Buyer, managing procurement activities and stakeholder coordination during night shifts. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain preferred. 
  • Minimum of 4 years of procurement experience preferred. 
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to forge and collaborate with internal customer/external supplier relationships. 
  • Understanding of contracts and commercial terms 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing and basic understanding of supply chain management 
  • Expertise in SAP and/or SAP-Ariba data processing systems preferred 
  • Proficiency with Power BI or similar reporting software preferred. 
  • Ability to comply with existing/quickly adapt to new processes within the organization; Adaptive to change, uncertain circumstances, embraces challenges 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work in team environment and demonstrate leadership 
  • Negotiation skills and Comfortable with conflict
