IT Business Systems Analyst - Entry

An Information Technology & Business Shared Services presence is established in Hyderabad, India with the objective of providing information technology application development and support services

Role Description:

The Salesforce position will work in a team environment for delivering IT-based business solutions.  This will involve engaging clients, internal experts, consultants, contracted resources and users to identify business needs and lead technical solutions. The role will require contribution in all aspects of solution delivery from discovery through implementation and support. 

Key responsibilities

• Automation Design & Development: Build, optimize, and maintain Salesforce Flows to automate business processes. Ensure automations are scalable, modular, and adhere to best practices.
• Business Process Analysis: Facilitate workshops to review business processes and gather requirements. Translate business needs into technical solutions using Salesforce automation capabilities.
• Platform Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform features, including Lightning Platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Force.com. Stay current with platform updates, new automation features, and best practices.
• Integration & Data Management: Integrate Salesforce with external applications using SOA/ESB technologies and web services (REST, SOAP, WSDL). Manage data migration and ensure data integrity across automated processes.
• Release Management & Quality Assurance: Use source control and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, ANT, SFDC Metadata API) for deploying automation assets. Conduct peer reviews and testing to validate automation logic and compliance.
• Consultation & Collaboration: Provide consultation to business process owners and stakeholders. Lead technical solutioning and mentor junior team members.
• Documentation & Compliance: Document automation logic, business rules, and maintain clear records for auditability. Ensure automations comply with internal and external regulations (e.g., SOX, data privacy).

Basic Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, M.E/M.Tech - Any Specialization, MCA or Equivalent experience. 5–10 years of Salesforce experience (Lightning Platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flows, advanced formulas, workflow rules, and automation strategies.
• Experience integrating with external systems and middleware tools (e.g., Dell Boomi).
• Familiarity with client-side technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (Angular, React, Backbone) is helpful.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git, SVN) and build tools (Jenkins, ANT).
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a global collaboration environment data migration.
