Helpdesk Representative - Entry

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation and resolution steps. Typically resolves basic problems while referring more complex problems to intermediate and/or senior level. May involve use of problem management database and help desk systems. This position is staffed by beginners who have had sufficient educational background and/or experience.

Qualifications

Entry level job with little or no prior relevant work experience. Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks. Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy. Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures.
