Role Description
An Information Technology & Business Shared Services presence is established in Hyderabad, India with the objective of providing information technology application development and support services
Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our Shared Services Centre in India. This role is pivotal in driving HR strategies that align with business objectives and foster a high-performing, inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Partnership & Business Collaboration:
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, understanding their business priorities and translating them into aligned HR strategies.
- Work closely with leadership to understand the organization's overall strategy and ensure HR initiatives are integrated to support strategic goals and enhance business outcomes.
- Lead and contribute to organization-wide strategic initiatives such as workforce planning, employee engagement, talent development, and performance management, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
- Act as a bridge between HR COEs and business units, ensuring HR programs and initiatives are tailored to meet specific needs while maintaining strategic alignment.
- Partner with COEs to ensure that HR policies are effectively communicated, understood, and implemented within the organization.
2. HR Metrics & Dashboard Management:
- Gather and interpret HR data from various sources, providing actionable insights to leadership that help in decision-making and prioritization.
- Explore opportunities to automate HR reporting and dashboard creation
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across different functions, ensuring open channels of communication and trust.
- Establish feedback loops with business leaders to continuously gather input on HR programs, adapting and refining HR strategies based on insights.
- Provide clear, consistent, and strategic communication around HR initiatives, using presentations and reports to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
4. Talent Development & Retention:
- Collaborate with L&D teams to design and deliver programs that align with business needs, focusing on upskilling and reskilling talent.
- Partner with leadership to develop robust succession plans for critical roles, ensuring talent readiness and retention [within Eastman framework]
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field as a minimum.
- 7+ years of proven experience as an HR Advisor / Business Partner or similar role, preferably in a shared services environment.
- Strong understanding of HR practices and local labour laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
