Role Description
An Information Technology & Business Shared Services presence is established in Hyderabad, India with the objective of providing information technology application development and support services.
The Network Analyst is responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the site’s network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, wireless, routing, switching, and security components. The role involves resolving incidents, processing service requests, collaborating with global and regional IT teams, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring consistent network availability and performance. The analyst will work hands-on with end users, network devices, and infrastructure rooms and must proactively drive issues to timely resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and manage network infrastructure across LAN/WAN/MPLS, wireless, and firewalls
- Resolve support incidents, process service requests, and update documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory of network devices, circuits, rack diagrams, and related site information
- Work collaboratively with regional/global IT teams and cross-functional teams across multiple sites
- Participate in team meetings, change management discussions, and process improvements
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless connectivity, NAC, security protocols, and packet-level issues
- Implement and support wireless LANs, VLAN mappings, controller-based deployments, SSIDs wireless security, and Cisco ISE
- Provide on-call support and perform hands-on troubleshooting at user desks, hub rooms, and server rooms
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
- 5–9 years of relevant experience
- Strong English communication skills (written/verbal), professional and courteous interaction
- Ability to follow documented processes, work collaboratively with global IT, and proactively resolve issues
- Experience in LAN, WAN, MPLS, firewalls, Cisco networking, Palo Alto, L2/L3 switching/routing, wireless networks, and monitoring tools like SolarWinds
- Strong troubleshooting skills across:
BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
VLANs, 802.1x, ACLs, Port Channels, NAC
Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ISR/ASR
Syslog, packet capture - Ability to work with end users, support deskside troubleshooting, and collaborate across IT functions. Willingness to be on call as needed
- Experience with Prisma SD WAN is required
- CCNA Certification is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of wireless LAN topologies, controllers, troubleshooting, and security protocols
- Cisco ISE experience for NAC
- Any higher level certification beyond CCNA, such as CCNP, CCIE, CCNP Security, CCNP Enterprise, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer (AZ 700), or other equivalent advanced networking certifications
