The Role

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for day to day management and growth of their assigned customer base and territory. This individual will develop phone-based account and territory management plans and generate sales leads, initiate prospect calls, and establish ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and utilize territory management plan
  • Identify and cold-call prospects
  • Support account managers in generating new business by creating and delivering qualified opportunities
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls, internet leads, and convert them into sales
  • Service existing accounts consisting of order follow-ups; complaint handling; resolving credit concerns; sample follow ups; and other account related issues
  • Provide Voice of Customer feedback including product quality, performance and service issues and concerns
  • Communicate the entire offering and value, including product/service features and benefits, prices, and credit terms
  • Provide ongoing sales demand forecasts
  • Negotiate business to close including pricing, sales terms and other conditions
  • Help provide sales analysis data to external sales team.   
  • Engage effectively with SFDC and opportunity management process.

 

Required Education and/or Experience

  • BS/BA in business related discipline preferred
  • Previous inside sales or customer service experience essential
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Experience with CRM and other sales systems and tools
