Join our dynamic team as the Supply Chain Manager for the Films Division in the EMEA Region, based in Ghent, Belgium. As a key member of the manufacturing Site Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in supply planning, integrated tactical planning, and/or distribution planning for regional and global manufacturing locations. Your leadership, guidance, and coaching will empower your direct reports, while your collaboration with other Eastman functional and business groups will create a high-performance workplace. Your focus will be on developing and optimizing supply chain strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and drive desired business outcomes in cash, cost, and service.

 

Key Competencies: 
•    Strategy: Develop and implement innovative supply chain strategies for Advanced Materials Interlayers and Performance Films in the EMEA region. 
•    Leadership: Lead and mentor regional supply chain teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. 
•    Coordination: Align supply chain activities seamlessly with sales, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service to enhance operational efficiency. 
•    Innovation: Represent the Supply Chain function in exciting new product launches and commercialization initiatives, driving growth and market success. 
•    Planning: Manage short-term supply plans and regional inventory strategies to optimize resource allocation and meet customer demands. Understanding of Integrated Business Planning.
•    Optimization: Skillfully handle slow-moving inventories and effectively manage distribution costs to enhance profitability. 
•    Performance: Develop and monitor regional metrics, ensuring exceptional service levels and continuously improving business performance. 
•    Safety: Maintain a safe work environment, prioritizing employee well-being and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. 
•    Team Development: Coach and develop the capabilities of your team, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.

 

Key Metrics: 
•    Achieve supply chain performance targets, such as EBIT, inventory, and service level, contributing to the overall success of the division. 
•    Fulfill customer quality and service requirements, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. 
•    Support regional business segment offerings, contributing to the growth and profitability of the division.

Required Qualification, Experience and Skills: 
•    Master's degree in engineering, supply chain, or operations research
•    Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain leadership, with a focus on S&OP and performance management
•    Proven track record in team leadership and talent development, nurturing a high-performing and engaged workforce
•    Financial acumen, with a solid understanding of the impact of supply chain decisions on the P&L and cash flow. 
•    Proficiency in SAP and supply planning applications (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP IBP)
•    Strong communication skills in English and Dutch and the ability to thrive in a global, diverse, and matrix organization, navigating complexity and driving alignment across different functions and regions.
