This is the role

As an Integrated Planner & Scheduler within the Care Solutions EMEA Supply Chain team, you will serve as the key liaison between Production, Logistics, and Customer Service. Your primary responsibility is to ensure uninterrupted supply process by balancing production, inventory, and demand. You will also support various supply chain stakeholders including Product Management, Demand Management, Quality, Sales, and Supply Chain. 
The Integrated Planner & Scheduler works closely with the global planning team and reports to the Integrated Planning Manager, Care Solutions.

The role is located in ourt Ghent North site and requires on-site presence for at least 3 days a week.

Typical tasks and responsibilities are

Planning:

•    Develop and maintain a 6-month rolling supply plan for both imported and locally produced products at manufacturing sites, storage warehouses and tolling partners.
•    Analyze and execute key supply process analytics to achieve an optimal balance between demand and supply.
•    Participate in and contribute to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
•    Model “what-if” scenarios and propose optimized solutions based on changing supply or demand conditions.
•    Identify, communicate, escalate, and independently manage and resolve variances and exceptions from the plan.
•    Actively support the Supply Manager in developing the 24-month supply plan and ensure alignment of short- and long-term plans.

Inventory:

•    Manage inventory planning for both external and internal warehouses, ensuring inventory levels and replenishment orders meet agreed targets.
•    Oversee aged and blocked inventories, collaborating with manufacturing and product management on solution to minimize business impact.
•    Evaluate and maintain Safety Stock and Target Inventory levels for the region.
•    Inventory Administration and Data Integrity: Handle stock adjustments related to rework processes, process order confirmations, inventory corrections (byproduct, discrepancies after truck fillings, replacements of damaged packaging, etc.), maintaining accurate and clean stock data in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Projects & Coordination:

•    Support, coordinate, and facilitate problem-solving related to customer inquiries and business processes, including product management, complaint handling, and returned materials.
•    Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business and product strategies, key customers, markets, and products within the assigned area of responsibility.
•    Provide report inputs and updates while seeking continuous improvements in information visibility and availability.
•    Initiate and proactively support process, tool, and knowledge improvements, including optimizing shipment modes, load planning, inventory strategies, and packaging based on cost efficiencies.
•    Maintain and optimize Master Data within the Advanced Planning Tool.

This is what you bring

•    Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
•    APICS CPIM or similar certification is a plus.
•    Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency. Capable to handle complexity.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, proficient in Dutch is an asset.
•    Experience with SAP and advanced planning software, preferably OMP.
•    Organized, structured, customer-oriented, precise, and able to work under pressure.
