Responsibilities

As E&I technician you work within the team of the maintenance department and are responsible for
    Interventions and problem-solving in case of breakdowns (high, medium and low voltage, control logic, instrumentation,...) 
    Providing assistance in multi disciplinary projects
    Independent implementation of projects (production optimization, energy efficiency, reliability ...) 
    Preventive maintenance of our technology (from control to machine) 
After an induction period and training/coaching, you will be engaged in the on-call system (one week on-call every 7 weeks). 

Qualifications

What does Eastman expect from you as an E&I technician?
▪ A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or energy technology, or A2 degree in electricity/electromechanics with 
experience and, above all, a strong desire to learn new things and broaden your technical knowledge.
▪ You have experience in electricity and therefore knowledge of PLC programming and control systems (Siemens S7, Tia, 
Wincc, etc.); Also knowledge of DCS systems, not a must, but a plus! 
▪ You are eager to learn, keen on technology and looking for a position in chemistry.
▪ You have a sense of responsibility and initiative.
▪ A true team player who can also work independently, with an eye for detail and solution-oriented.
▪ Safety comes first for you, which is why you maintain a strong safety culture.
▪ Excellent knowledge of Dutch, knowledge of English is necessary
