Martinsville Site Finance Lead

Responsibilities

 

1.    Actively lead and mentor the Martinsville site cost accounting team, including conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and developing the team.
2.    Provide leadership and support for the monthly closing process, monitoring production cost centers, projects, assessments, and taking proactive steps to ensure accurate financial results.
3.     Coordinate the annual budget process for the manufacturing site.
4.    Provide oversight and input into the financial reporting process, including analysis of performance versus forecast, budget, and prior year.
5.    Ensure site compliance with Eastman Chemical corporate policies and procedures, GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
6.    Oversee both daily and annual product costing requirements for the site.
7.    Lead the monthly forecasting process for on-site manufacturing units.
8.    Serve as a member of the Site Leadership Team
9.    Perform ad hoc analysis as required for the site.

Qualifications

 

1.    BS/BA /BBA Accounting or Finance, certificates and advanced degrees considered a plus
2.    5+ years accounting/finance experience preferred
3.    Advanced Excel skills a plus
4.    Advanced SAP skills a plus
5.    Strong ability to lead and develop a team
