Eastman Chemical Company is currently searching for a Inside Sales Specialist for our SunTek Performance Films distribution center located in Dania Beach, FL.


The Inside Sales Specialist performs a wide variety of sales/clerical duties for the purpose of maintaining current customers, obtaining new customers, and increasing sales volume.


RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Answer incoming calls, process orders, prepare invoices, and enter customer information updates.
  • Set up and maintain customer files.
  • Maintain superior product knowledge and competitor information.
  • Provide customer service to current and prospective customers by answering questions and solving problems.
  • Present price, credit, and terms to customers and prospective customers in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Initiate cold calls to prospective business customers, send promotional materials, and follow up.
  • Process customer warranties and returns.
  • Process new business leads within 24 hours and provide discovery summary; prepare leads, conduct follow-up as applicable
  • Participate in Call Projects and special projects as required
  • Manage daily activities in Sales Force in accordance with company policies
  • Monitor promotional pack inventory and assemble more as needed.
  • Provide support to Outside Sales Representatives
  • Cross-trained in shipping to assist with order fulfillment.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines



  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year relevant, applicable customer service experience and 1 year relevant, applicable sales experience.
  • Effectively communicate with others (present ideas, facts, and other information clearly)
  • Strong interpersonal skills – can work well in a team environment
  • Strong basic math and negotiation skills
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook, as well as general computer skills.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Experience with Sales Force is a plus.
  • Can quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent follow-through and detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
