Warehouse Storeman

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Storeman shall efficiently move raw/finished product within & outside warehouse environment. The incumbent shall ensure that documentation, labelling, palletization and presentation are done accurately as they are critical for export preparation. He shall unload/load trucks and monitor key performance indicators such as movements, damage and on time dispatch, and ensure that the warehouse & equipment is cleaned to standard on a daily/regular basis.
Purchase Order preparation, fulfillment and assisting in logistic coordination is a key aspect of the role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•    Ensure goods are picked and packed correctly;
•    Ensure packing is in accordance to requirements;
•    Ensure goods are properly handled to avoid damage;
•    Receive and check all incoming goods;
•    Pick and pack for export;
•    Printing/Clean-off printing;
•    Monitor packaging materials stock level;
•    Assist in monthly stock take;
•    Assist in equipment maintenance;
•    Assist in IQC inspection;
•    Assist in cutting film samples;
•    Upkeep of warehouse;
•    To cover duties for other staff on leave or MC.

Qualifications

School certificate or equivalent
Experience in warehousing / customer service beneficial
