Eastman’s Integrated Global Supply Chain organization is responsible for managing the flow of information and materials from the suppliers of raw materials, indirect materials, and services to the delivery of finished goods to the customers.
The functions within the Integrated Global Supply Chain include procurement, material planning, inventory management, logistics and customer service.
The global organization has employees in 17 countries around the world and is responsible for managing a $7 billion spend for raw materials, energy, indirect materials, capital materials, and logistics. The team completes procurement, material planning, and scheduling for more than 40 manufacturing sites in all four major regions of the world. The department also manages $1.6 billion of inventory globally, providing service to customers in more than 100 countries.
