Role Description

The Events Coordinator is responsible for managing all facets of consumer and customer-facing events and tradeshows for the Eastman Performance Films North American and European business units in line with event-specific goals, budgets and deadlines. This includes working with cross functional team members to identify event goals, scouting locations, drafting RFPs, soliciting bids, developing and negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships and customer communications; managing event execution, training and communications and leading post event review and adjust sessions.


Managing and executing all facets of business unit events to meet desired goals, deadlines and budget criteria.


Reports To: Regional Marketing Leader – Americas 
This is a remote work opportunity. 



  • Plan and facilitate logistics for all events and tradeshows, including conceptualizing theme ideas, vetting keynote speakers, venue preparation, managing creative services, presentation materials, contract negotiations, guest lists, security, housing, catering, AV, entertainment, transportation, equipment, decor, and marketing materials in line within established budget and deadlines
  • Work as needed with third party agencies and suppliers to execute the event within pre-determined goals, deadlines and budget
  • Lead post-event review and adjust assessment and report out
  • Engage with key internal team members (legal, marketing, creative, technical services, sales and leadership) to execute, provide planning updates, identify areas of concern, present options and recommendations 
  • Onsite lead to troubleshoot and handle any issues that arise on the event day
  • Establish standard event procedures and train staff to execute them
  • Comply with legal, insurance, health and safety regulations at all times
  • Execute project management through TeamWork platform
  • Manage in-house tradeshow assets and dealer event program support
  • Coordinate sales conferences

  • Bachelor’s degree in event management or a related discipline required
  • 5+ years prior experience in event planning 
  • Strong project management acumen
  • Contract negotiation and development experience
  • Proficient with the Event Management System and Cvent registration tool used to manage registration and event logistics, MS PowerPoint
  • Flexibility to travel both domestic and internationally, as needed
