Cash Manager

Based in Luxembourg


Actively support the growth and continued strategic development of the In-House Bank and the Company’s Treasury Operations in coordination and collaboration with the Senior Manager of Global Treasury Operations and Treasury Managers. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Position cash daily for multiple cash pools and bank accounts with several banking partners
  • Ensure adequate liquidity for the portfolio through the maintenance and management of short-term cash forecasts and the execution of supporting cash transactions
  • Utilize technology including Kyriba and other treasury workstation software, SAP, FXAll and banking portals to improve operational efficiency
  • Responsible for regular payment operations processing, interface with accounting, treasury, and accounts payable payment partners, ensure timely execution of interest and other debt related payments,
  • Manage bank accounts including opening and closure of accounts, including Know Your Customer (KYC) requests, and other compliance requirements.
  • Analyze bank fees and products and services and drive efficiency through improved services and reduced cost
  • Ensure compliance with Department and Company policies and procedures, including Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
  • Build and maintain Portfolio Banking relationships
  • Manage In-House Bank virtual accounts
  • Actively collaborate with global cross functional team members to optimize corporate cash utilization.


Other Treasury Operations Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in managing the settlement of intercompany balances and assist in managing the intercompany loan portfolio
  • Collaborate with the tax, accounting, and legal departments evaluating optimal structure and execution plans for entity restructuring, capitalization and dividend remittance, and intercompany transactions.
  • Document Treasury related processes & controls and identify and implement best practices
  • Ad hoc treasury projects/analysis: working closely with the Global Treasury team on process automation and efficiency enhancements


Skills & Experience:
You are a pro-active, process-oriented, and independent professional. You understand the importance of compliance. You do not have a 9-to-5 mentality but have a positive and can-do attitude and proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects. You enjoy working in a small international team in a start-up setting, yet part of a large MNC.

You enjoy working in Treasury and have a continuous improvement- and learning mindset. Your analytical skills and financial acumen enable you to assess the impact of business and regulatory changes fast and evaluate the effect of the changes in Treasury needs.

You have excellent communication skills, fluent in English both written and spoken. French, German or other European languages are an advantage


Required Qualifications:

  • Degree from leading university in economics/finance or BA/BS degree
  • 4+ years of experience in Cash Management (preferred), Corporate Treasury, FP&A, Banking or similar field – in a multinational corporate environment
  • Familiarity with Cash Management, Payment and Collection/Receipt on behalf structures, intercompany loan processes, intercompany balances settlement processes, FX trading, and cash pools.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel. & SAP.
  • Experience with Kyriba, SAP’s Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) and In-House Cash (IHC) modules as well as FXall is preferred
  • Experience with Asia Pacific cash management is a plus, but not required
