Maintenance Representative Lead
The Maintenance Representative Lead is a member of the core Project Team for an exciting capital megaproject. The role is responsible for the oversight of the coordination and facilitation of all maintenance responsibilities, electrical and mechanical. The major role of the Maintenance Representative Lead is to define the overall maintenance strategy and ensure the appropriate maintenance representative is incorporating requirements throughout the Front-End Engineering, and Execution phases to meet the project objectives.
Responsibilities:

Effectively communicate and collaborate with Area Maintenance Representatives to provide an optimal maintenance strategy for large capital projects.

Define Overall Maintenance strategy for all maintenance responsibilities, electrical and mechanical.

Equipment design, specifications, and layout

System design for maintainability

Critical equipment/instrumentation

Predictive Maintenance tools

Spare Part requirements
-
Performance metrics

Identify and prioritize critical production and safety assets

Define plant hierarchy and asset register structure for SAP, GE APM, etc.

Provide oversight on identify performance or potential issues with current design

Establish preventative maintenance, inspection, and asset integrity requirements for each asset

Assess and define training program needs including written training/equipment manuals, job plans, and apprenticeship

Coordinate multi-unit physical check-out, pre-start up, and commissioning requirements

Equipment acceptance

Calibration and test procedures

Define spare part strategy for operational, safety, and long lead items

Assist Maintenance Representatives in determine long term general maintenance labor needs, along with any specialty labor needs

Define resource and time constraints and impact on milestone schedule
Qualifications

B.S. degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years related experience, but prefer 10 or more years related experience

Thorough understanding of maintenance processes, from project definition through plant start-up and ongoing life of the assets.

Demonstrate commitment to safety and dedication to implementing safe processes for the maintainability of the installed facilities

Effective communication and coordination skills and demonstrated team leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Ability to travel as needed based on project needs
