Responsibilities

This role assists more senior professionals to coordinate and administer a variety of programs and activities covering multiple HR activities. With direct supervision by HR Management or Senior HR professionals will assist to coordinate or administer various aspects of the organization's compensation and benefit, recruitment, training, organization development, and employee relations programs. The HR Representative will operate in and be responsible for more than one of these areas and perform many of the same activities as professionals that specialize in these individual HR functions.  

 

The Human Resources Representative is responsible for all or part of these areas:
•    recruiting and staffing logistics; university relations
•    performance management;
•    organization development;
•    talent and succession planning processes;
•    employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting;
•    employee orientation, development, and training; off-boarding;
•    employee relations;
•    site-wide committee facilitation;
•    employee communications;
•    benefit inquiries;
•    employee services and counseling.

Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related field required (Master's preferred) or equivalent HR experience.
•    Representative experience preferred
•    PHR certification preferred
•    Strong leadership skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to translate HR knowledge into valuable recommendations and solutions
•    Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
