•Financial Manager assigned to Treasury to lead all financial risk management duties for a global enterprise
•Responsible for trading key commodity and currency positions
•Manages a team of financial analysts which collectively provides decision support through analysis and complex financial modeling
•Provides strategic guidance and recommendations for the management of financial risks across commodities, FX and interest rates
•Manages process of reducing volatility of other income/expense line of P&L through currency risk management
•Manage hedge accounting processes to ensure derivatives are properly accounted for
•Coordinates and oversees the application of rigorous analyses required in support of risk management strategies for managing commodity price risks
•Advises on fixed/floating mix targets for Eastman Chemical’s portfolio of debt instruments
•Responsible for drafting of transaction strategy plans for managing risks in the area of commodities and foreign currencies
•Develops Financial Risk Management vision and contributes to the implementation of leading practices and driving employee engagement, as well as building internal support for managing risks across the enterprise
•Participates on cross functional teams where needed to advise on key risks and management strategies
•Comprehensive understanding of  risk measurement including Value at Risk
•Synthesis of inputs, commodity costs and pricing relationships into clear recommendations and defensible positions to build support for risk management
•Strong advisory and  influence capabilities
•Assist in managing Eastman banking relationships
•Significant experience in trading financial instruments
•Solid  problem solving and resolution techniques
•Strategic thinking  applied to business issues as well as finance staffing and overall functional excellence
•Economics, Finance, or Other Quantitative Discipline required
•Minimum of 10 years of finance, risk management and managerial experience, to generally include
•Direct  supervision across various disciplines and geographies
•Trading financial instruments
•Strategy development
•Strategic project and core process leadership
•Application of financial/risk acumen in decision support for specific business planning and performance
•Recruiting and talent development
